I have a client in the prestigious London Market hiring for a Power BI Developer both PERMANENT AND CONTRACT.

Contract must be an experienced, high calibre, immediately available, Power BI and Market expert.

Required Skills and Experience

●BI / SQL Development

●MI Analysis

Understanding of Agile methodologies

●T-SQL

●Power BI

●Microsoft SSIS

●Microsoft SSRS

●Distributed source control systems (Git, Mercurial etc.)

●Snowflake (Desirable)

In addition:

• This is a high-impact role for someone who combines Power BI technical fluency with insurance domain expertise, particularly in Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) and London Market operations.
• Excellent Power BI skills and knowledge of other data / reporting tools
• Proven experience in the insurance sector, ideally in London Market / DUA operations.
• A strong grasp of data models, KPIs, and performance metrics relevant to insurance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, happy dealing with senior customers.
• A dynamic, collaborative environment with real ownership of a product used by top-tier insurers and MGAs.
• Champion data quality, UX, and visual storytelling in reporting dashboards.
• Act as the domain expert for all things DUA reporting.
