We’re looking for an experienced Operational Governance & Resilience Manager to join a growing financial services organisation and play a key role within the COO function.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who thrives in governance, operational resilience, regulatory implementation, and driving practical business change across a multi-jurisdictional environment.

Key areas of focus:
✔️ Operational governance frameworks, controls and decision-making structures
✔️ Operational resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery
✔️ Translating regulatory requirements into scalable business processes
✔️ Embedding operational initiatives into business-as-usual activity
✔️ Governance reporting, board materials and senior stakeholder engagement
✔️ Continuous improvement, operating model evolution and process optimisation

What you’ll be doing:
• Support and enhance Operational Resilience frameworks across UK and European entities
• Lead resilience activities including IBS mapping, scenario testing and remediation tracking
• Coordinate governance activities and regulatory readiness (including DORA and UK Operational Resilience requirements)
• Drive accountability through effective reporting, metrics and action management
• Partner across Risk, Compliance, Finance, Claims, Audit, Legal and Operations functions
• Support business continuity planning, oversight frameworks and operational control environments
• Deliver meaningful insight and governance materials to executive and board audiences

What we’re looking for:
• Experience in operational resilience, governance, risk, operations or change within regulated financial services (insurance experience advantageous)
• Strong understanding of operational controls, regulatory frameworks and governance structures
• Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership and complex delivery programmes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong project delivery mindset with the ability to simplify complexity and drive outcomes

Desirable:
• Experience across UK and European insurance environments
• Knowledge of Solvency II, SMCR and related regulatory expectations
• Exposure to governance redesign, operational transformation and Microsoft collaboration platforms
