The successful candidate will act as a design lead and mentor, shaping design strategy, elevating design quality, and supporting junior designers — though there is no direct team management initially.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead designer on complex digital projects, setting and maintaining high standards of UX and visual design.
 - Mentor and coach less experienced designers, supporting their professional growth and design delivery.
 - Apply a hands-on, design-led approach across research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and delivery.

Key Criteria
- Experience operating at a Lead or Principal level within digital product design.
 - Proven track record of mentoring or leading small design teams.
 - Strong hands-on experience in digital UX/UI design, underpinned by sound design principles and methodologies.
 - Demonstrable ability to explain and justify design approaches clearly and confidently.
 - Excellent organisational skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
 - Must possess a current, reviewable design portfolio showcasing process, principles, and impact.
 - Willingness to undertake ad hoc international travel (approximately twice a year to the US and Europe).
