Primary Purpose of Job
A hands-on role at the heart of our regulatory, reserving, and financial data operations.
The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of regulatory return submissions, reserving data pipelines, and technical provisions extracts, as well as managing relationships with external auditors.
The role requires a high degree of independence, rigour, and a thorough understanding of the Lloyd's regulatory environment

A number of soft skills are also required, although many of these will be a natural progression or extension of those expected of an Underwriting Assistant within Ark. These include:
- understanding of the business, its culture, values and strategic objectives;
- marketing and presenting Ark to brokers, clients, capital providers and prospective business partners; and
- establishing and maintaining relationships with senior partners and peers across the market, including Lloyd’s and LMA.
Education /Experience
A minimum of five years' experience in a data or business intelligence role within the Lloyd's or London Market insuranceenvironment.
Demonstrable, hands-on experience with Lloyd'sregulatory returns, including one or more of: RRA, RRQ, SUK/Solvency II, PMD, QMB etc.
Understanding of reserving concepts and technical provisions within a Lloyd's syndicate context.
IT Knowledge
Microsoft packages include Word, Excel, and Internet software.
Advanced SQL Server knowledge, including complex stored procedures, dynamic SQL, and performance optimisation. Power Query and Power BI.
